The name
Maurice Lacroix
represents decades of experience
in the making of quality
watches. In 1961, Zurich’s Desco
von Schulthess AG – the Maurice
Lacroix parent company –
acquired an assembly facility in
Saignelégier in the Swiss Jura
mountains where it produced
private labels destined for the
domestic and international
markets. In 1975 the company
launched its own Maurice Lacroix
brand.
In 2006, Maurice Lacroix
launched its first own
manufacture movement - the start
of a new era for the brand.
Maurice Lacroix is committed to
creating lasting values through
the competence and passion for
interpreting authentic
craftsmanship with innovative
and contemporary solutions.
The value system on which
Maurice Lacroix bases his work
can be best described by
defining its three core values:
Authentic: We feel obliged and
committed to the Swiss watchmaking tradition and we
wish to create original and
authentic products by remaining
true to our roots.
Contemporary: We are always
seeking innovative and
positively surprising elements
for our designs, choice of
functions and material. This
contemporary thinking, combined
with our commitment to
authenticity, re-interprets
traditional watchmaking in our
own way.
Passion for details: Our
passion and enthusiasm for the
smallest detail is shown and
felt in our designs, choice of
material and in the finesse of
the harmonious composition of
every watch. This passion for
detail is shown especially in
the extremely elaborate and
sophisticated watch dials, the
finely decorated and finished
movements of the Masterpiece
Collection, which are enhanced
with additional intricate
complications, as well as in the
design and materials of the
Quartz Collections.
