KING BABY STUDIO Designer & Owner, MITCHELL BINDER, began his jewelry career at the early age of 15, taking his first job as a jeweler’s apprentice. Recognizing his love and talent for design, Mitchell went on to study at various highly respected Art Schools, including Parsons and Otis, where he finely tuned his artistic abilities and satisfied his passion to design. In the 80s and 90s, Mitchell Binder created Artwear Concepts and Hardwear Design, both proved to be successful enterprises for him. In the late 90s, Mitchell was taking a break from design to write and produce various projects when his jewelry was spotted by friends on EBay being auctioned off at outrageous prices. Mitchell was immediately re- inspired by his jewelry fans he didn’t even realize he had.

In 2000, Mitchell Binder founded KING BABY STUDIO offering rich, heavy and bold jewelry that uniquely unite silver, leather and semi-precious stones. King Baby Studio has had huge success over the last five years, selling at the finest boutiques in the world, appearing in the top lifestyle, fashion and biker magazines worldwide and gaining a high profile celebrity fan base. In 2003, Mitchell Binder also opened KING BABY JAPAN in Nagoya, Japan. Since its opening, sales have skyrocketed in throughout Asia. In June 2005, King Baby looks forward to launching into the London market by making his premiere at Harrod’s of London.
